Vaccines can help prevent your child from getting diseases like those listed in the charts below.  Ask your child's doctor or nurse about the vaccines and about any possible side effects.

 


"VACCINE FOR CHILDREN PROGRAM"
 

In a collaborative effort with the Nevada State Health Division and the Washoe County District Health Department, HAWC provides childhood immunization to uninsured and underinsured children in northern Nevada regardless of their ability to pay.  For those who can afford a fee, a $15 administrative fee is charged.  Of course, for those patients who are unable to make a payment, the fee is waived.

Note:  If a child has never been enrolled in a Washoe County School District school or daycare in this area, they are required to have both doses of this vaccine.
