A few things you should know . . .

If you feel you are experiencing an emergency please inform the front desk and ask for immediate attention.  We will have a qualified provider look at you to determine if it is an emergency.

If your child has a rash, please bring this to the immediate attention of the clinic staff.   We will have a qualified provider look at the rash to determine if it is contagious.  If it is contagious, we will immediately place you in a separate waiting area.

A word about our priorities, first, if at all possible please make an appointment.  With an appointment you will receive first priority and we will both save time.  As a work-in, while we will try our best to see you as soon as possible, we can not possibly know how long it will take us to see you.  Expect a wait.  If you can not wait, we encourage you to make an appointment, or seek care elsewhere.

Physicals are not available on a work-in basis.  We have far too many sick patients to be offering physicals on a work-in basis.  Please schedule your children's athletic and preschool physicals well in advance of the first week of school or the first day of team practice.  If you are here because of an illness and then once in the room ask for a physical, we will treat the illness and ask you to reschedule the physical.

Our work-in service is available during all our regular hours and is administer on a first come first served basis. Please understand that appointments are always taken first, work-ins who are established patients are second, and work-ins never seen here before are third.   Our providers are purposefully scheduled light to accommodate work-ins and we will do our best to see you that day.

Sometimes we must triage or priority rank our patients by the severity of their illness.   From time to time because of the number of patients waiting, the hour of the day, or the severity of an illness - a nurse or physician's assistant may determine that we are   not able to see you at that time.  Please understand that if the problem is very serious we may elect to see you or your child immediately, or we may refer you to a local hospitals' emergency room.  On the other hand, if the problem is minor, and there are a number of people ahead of you, and the hour is late, we may ask you to make an appointment for a future time.
